White Noise

WHITE NOISE

I seem to constantly

drop out

while trying to

tune in

Might just take another

turn on

the mirror mattress bed

She said

«I know what it’s like to be dead»

Decode the white noise

Find my master’s voice

Social Economy

SOCIAL ECONOMY

Plenty of nothing or nothing at all?
Two ambiguous facts for the poor
is: The bigger they get the harder they fall
and that less is well known to be more

But no matter how huge or how seemingly small,
what comes in addition to that is
one fact to remember that’s still standing tall:
That free is way more than just gratis

Rainbows and Unicorns

I

I’m always off to see that girl again
Her girly ways will light my life again
I know i’m spinning like a swirl again
And I’ll be lying to my wife again

For whatever was born from experience
will submit to what’s still holding none
The sugar is sweetened, the tales are all told
A scent of the New Age, a night’s manyfold
And an hour before dawn I’ll be gone

II

So, we’ve actually turned insane again
The Tin Woodman, the Coward Lion and Cupid here again
I’m in need of a brand new brain again
‘cause I’ll be acting very stupid here again

For whatever was born from experience
is a jerk for what’s still holding none
The sugar is sweetened, the tales are all told
A scent of the New Age, a night’s manyfold
And before she wakes up I’ll be gone

CHORUS

I’ll give you the moon, baby
when your star is born
Bring on those rainbows, baby
And I’ll wake up the unicorn

Your ticket to the feverous
ride through infinity
Maybe afterwards we’ll
discuss my divinity

Spin my magic zodiac, honey
Power my libido’s light
Always trust Santa, tooth fairies
and me
You’re way cool,
let’s get on with this night

III

You’ll be learning every trick again
And magic will be in the air again
We’ll go there just by a flick again
Oh my god, those glory days are here again

But what should have been born from experience
sure looks more like it’s still holding none
Your sugar is sweetened, your tales are all told
A scent of the New Age, and you’re in control
You’ll go when I sleep and you’re done

BRIDGE

Oo-oh, those melons and peaches
Still life coming alive when she reaches
out for the RC, the J and the candy
Dazed and befuddled I must surrender to
her dimples of Venus, her modus operandi

CHORUS

I’ll give you the moon, baby
when your star is born
Bring on those rainbows, baby
And I’ll wake up the unicorn

Your ticket to the feverous
ride through infinity
Maybe afterwards we’ll
discuss my divinity

Spin my magic zodiac, honey
Power my libido’s light
Always trust Santa, tooth fairies
and me
You’re way cool,
let’s get on with this night

(Repeat chorus)

CATS AND DOGS

For what it’s worth
they say next week it’ll be
raining
cats and dogs
Cool
That means next week it’ll be
raining
love, finally
Cool
Bring on the flood
Let’s have oceans
Maine Coons and Great Danes
We kinda need those
Less won’t do

My Favorite Things

En ganske personlig gjendiktning av Oscar Hammerstein IIs tidløse schläger fra «The Sound Of Music» (1959). Originalmusikken var ved Richard Rodgers.

MY FAVORITE THINGS

Big brandy bottles with brandy inside them
Large, juicy joints and a nice place to hide them
Steely Dan records, a new set of strings
These are a few of my favorite things

Tenderloin beef steak along with some good wine
Cuban cigars and a «Free Samples Here» sign
Strawberries, chocolate, a girlfriend who sings
These are a few of my favorite things

Freshly ground coffee with sugar and cream in it
Flying (allthough I was probably dreamin’ it)
Freedom and friendship, a good pair of wings
These are a few of my favorite things

In the dark nights when the snark bites
and I’m turning mad
I hardly remember my favorite things,
but that’s just when I feel really bad
